8 Samsung device will be banned in U.S

Apple has identified the Samsung products it plans on trying to ban from sale in the United States. A federal jury in San Jose, Calif., awarded Apple approximately $1.05 billion in damages after a three-week patent trial Friday. The jury in the case found that Samsung “willfully” infringed on five of seven Apple patents including the iPhone’s iconography, its “pinch-and-zoom” feature, the “bounce-back” effect in on-screen scrolling and the double-tap zoom.
The world’s most valuable company wasted no time in identifying its targets on Monday: eight older-model smartphones, including the Galaxy S2 and Droid Charge. While Apple’s lawsuit encompassed 28 devices, many of those accused products are no longer widely available in the world’s largest mobile market.
The list includes: Galaxy S 4G, AT&T Galaxy S2, Galaxy S2 Skyrocket, Galaxy S2 T-Mobile, Galaxy S2 Epic 4G, Galaxy S Showcase, Droid Charge, Galaxy Prevail.
