Google announced Jelly bean few days back. This is also known an Android 4.1. As it is the latest Android phone in the market it is definitely having ravishing features. The main features that it is having are speedier interface, a new Camera app, offline voice typing, significantly improved notifications, a Siri like voice search, Google and more. I am telling you the brief introduction of the features that are in it.
Project butter
Everyone was talking about Project Butter during the Google I/O developer’s conference. The name indicates that it is something related to dairy products but it is not the case. Using VSyn and triple buffering, animations are buttery smooth. This is the reason of calling it Project Butter. The CPU speeds up when you touch the screen.
Home screen:
When you keep on installing apps they get scattered on the screen. But the new screen in modified in the manner that it automatically arranges the widgets and apps.
Improved text input:
It has a strong keyboard. The exciting function is that it predicts your next word. You can even type with your voice. It does not need an internet connection. This feature is the most awesome feature in any mobile. 18 new languages are supported by the keyboard. Even Arabic and Hebrew are also included in the languages. Blind users can use external brail input.
Improved camera:
Photo shooting is quick in it like Galaxy Nexus. You can review your photos with film-strip view. Even sharing photos is very easy. You have to make just two taps.
Improved notification drawer:
In previous mobiles we can only see notification panel that you have four new messages. But now it will show a preview of the message’s content. Actionable notification is a new added feature in which you can see the missed call notification with an option to call back or send message. You can comment or like pictures even without going in the app.
Siri like voice assistant with Google knowledge integration graph:
Siri allows you to write your messages and mails without writing. It means your phone will convert your voice command into the written form. But Jelly comes with even more different and useful feature. You can ask questions that come in your mind. Voice commands now allow you to have conversations.
Google app:
A new Android device with the name of Google now helps you in searching history, calendar items and more to give you information. Anything that you have searched on your mobile will be in the mind of your mobile. Like if you have searched for your flight, it will keep that in its memory and will inform you in the form of prompt when the status of the flight will get updated
Android beam:
It is now much better. You can use your NFC enabled device to send photos and videos to your friends by tapping tem together. Now simply tap your device to the other NFC enabled hardware like speakers and you are paired with that.
