Apple works in joint collaboration with some other companies. These companies are supervised by Apple because Apple products are made under them. Taiwan based manufacturing company is believed to be one of the few companies that are developing panels for iPhone 5. DigiTimes claims that Taiwan Company Wintek who is producing iPhone 5 panels is having great trouble in its manufacturing the company is finding a delayed bubble defect in some of the iPhone 5 panels that it is producing. It is not yet clearly disclosed what this defect is causing to the screen. It is only said that it is appearing after touch panel lamination and during assembly. Wintek is said to be one of the few companies that are producing panels for iPhone 5. According to Digitimes source, Wintek will produce 20-25% of all the iPhone 5 touch panels while Taiwan’s TPK will produce 60-65% of the device’s display. It is not sure that the short supply of the iPhone 5 will happen on its release because of Wintek or Taiwan TPK. It is also said that resolving this panel issue will not take great time because panel of iPhone 5 is similar to iPhone 4. The news that Wintek is facing problem in making panel is not shocking news because manufacturing partners have experienced difficulty in making products as see by long delay of the white iPhone. When the company was asked about this problem, Wintek do not confirm the claim and Digitimes, instead of the production company said that the products will be delivered on time. In June, Terry Gou, chairman of Hon Hai, who is the owner of Foxconn, a prominent Apple supply partner, said that Apple’s devices (iPhone and iPads) are very difficult to make. There are lots of rumors about iPhone5 but in reality we do not even know that iPhone5 exists or not. If it exists than when will it launch? Even it is in the said that Apple will launch two iphones this year not a single iPhone. Special event will be organized by Apple n this October 2012. Apple strategy is still the same. It will stay tight lipped on its plans. It will let rumor mill continue to churn out reports.

Apple will not repeat the history of shortening of iPhones on its release. According to DigiTimes iPhone5 launches will make a splash. 25 million to 26 million iPhone 5 will e shipped n the fourth quarter. CNET requested apple to comment on the news of the DigiTimes. But apple do not immediate comment on the news of the DigiTimes. According to the best information available, this smartphone will launch in October and hit stores shelves few weeks later. It will supposedly have larger display, 8MP camera and other enhancements. Rumors do not always come true or not always come falsified. So we can only wait till October when the iPhone 5 will get launched. That time we can say that which company claim proves right or which company was at fault.
