Not even Mark Zuckerberg gets a 100% approval rating. But unlike most of the technology company CEOs, did surely enjoys a good reputation amongst his employees. Facebook employees have given Zuckerberg a 94% approval rating, which is about the best that anyone can get.
According to Glassdoor, a website where you can rate your employer and the company you work for, Zuckerberg’s rating is off the charts. The trick is the compensation and the benefits they get. Facebook employees believe that they are making the world a better place and they are happy to work for Zuckerberg in doing so. At least when it comes to social media networking, online connectivity and communication.
Now Zuckerberg should try to cross pass Apple’s CEO Tim Cook, who is two points ahead of him. On average, CEOs have a 62% approval rating. Zuckerberg must be doing something more right this year than last, because he has gained 9% approval rating since 2011. However, to get the real approval rating, all of the Facebook employees, which are 3,000+ in number, have to be surveyed.
For the time being, Zuckerberg can be happy with what Glassdoor has to reflect through 300 employees that have shared their opinions. There are though some who have complained about long working hours and how working for Facebook has not brought joy in their lives.
