Ashton Kutcher will Portray Steve Jobs in a New Biopic

Ashton Kutcher has established himself as someone who is always in on the social media activities, especially through his initial interest in Twitter at the time when other celebrities were not taking it so seriously. He is amongst the first few who began tweeting and made it look cool. Now, he is reported to play Steve Jobs in a biopic based on the life of the inventor.

Already as a CEO, Jobs was a popular figure amongst both the people from the industry as well as Apple fanatics. Just shortly after his death, his authorized biography written by Walter Isaacson came out. It is expected that a movie on his life will also be made based on this book and reports are that it is indeed under production by Sony Pictures.  The Social Network’s screenwriter Aaron Sorkin was asked about the task, but that remains unfilled so far.

However, the report about Ashton portraying Jobs’ character has been confirmed. This time the script writer is Matt Whiteley and Joshua Michael Stern will direct the film which is expected to be titled just Jobs will start production this May. Though Ashton is not known for his acting skills, but he certainly does hold the potential to play the part considering his interest in new technologies and social media. How does Apple fans feel them is a reaction yet to be discovered.
